Runaway is a kind mare with a big heart, she is willing to help anyone in need and put others before herself. the scars on her body are only her memories of traveling and gives this mare some of her character. She is very protective and loyal and is willing to do anything asked of her.
Past:
From in the Northwest plains, a herd of wild horses scavanged the lands living in peace with all the surrounding neighbors. In late summer a palomino mare was born to a light white mare and a palomino stallion.
Months whent by, the once small filly becoming a mare befor her herds eyes, once she was a year old a young colt from another herd started hanging around, waiting for the right time to possibly snake some mares away to crate his own herd.
Becoming braver, the colt laid his eyes on the palomino and tried snaking her out before anyone else would notice, his attempts failed only getting him into a fight with the lead stallion of her heard.
Only a year later when she was about to turn two when a horrible storm rolled accross the pains, feeling the lightning in the sky, the horses retreated to find shelter, hearing crashes of lightning and thunder behind them they managed to find a cave away from the rain, but what they didnt know was that there was a pack of cougars in the cave, their glowing eyes peering out to the horses from above, waiting for the perfect time to strike..
As the cougars were about to attack a bolt of lightning struck a near by tree catching it on fire knocking it down almost on top of the cave, startled the horses tried getting out of the cave at once, but where stuck, some of the foals managed to escape along with mares and young colts, and maybe a stallion or two, but not all of them would make it out, amung the cougars and being trapped they died.
The herd couldnt do anything but turn away from their loss. The rain still beating down on them they marched in a line, down crooked moutain pathes, lightning struck the plains below torching them, another great lost to many herds.
All they could do now was travel and find a new home, one palomino filly strayed away after seeing something that had cought her eye, now two she was able to leave her herd, getting split up from her herd, the mare stood in a path, looking lost as she tried finding her herd.
Standing in the woods by herself the mare walked the way she had already traveled, the road to her home that was once torched by fire from the harsh storm that had gotten some of her family killed, and all homeless...
Wondering on the wrong track the mare finds her self in these newlands looking for a new start, now three years of age, shes ready to settle down and end her travels for now.

Amarillo based sillhouette danced in a smooth manner. Flaxen tresses wondering into the jezebel's hazel orbs, her cream colored tassle whipped against her flank as she began to pick up her pace. Now moving from a two-beat into a 3-beat, her hooves seemed to count her strides..One, two, three. One, two, three..
Her frame was on the slight skinny side for her type. But she looked healthy. Her muscles could still be seen as she climbed up a steep hill. Stopping at the top of it to get a look of where she was.
It was a hot summer day. A small breeze had started to blow, brushing the mare's locks out of her eyes. Her auds would pull back as annoying pests bit at her hide.
Emitting a snort she shook her entire frame, knocking the flies and other insects off her, just to have them come back.
Never really noticing the hoof prints of others around her till now. Her eyes focused on them. Was she in someones terra?
Her brow cocked slightly as she pawed against the soil. Her hoof getting clotted with semi-wet soil.
She sighed. The day was inching along, slowly might I add. The mare was growing restless.
The filly inside her rearing up, wanting to play.
She took off down the hill, almost tumbling over her some-what long limbs. She bucked a couple of times when she reached the flats of the land, and then stopped completely.
Her mane messy and in her face, she tossed her head. But to no effect, her tresses fell back over her puppy dog eyes.
She grew bored again. She wished someone would come along and play with her, or talk to her.
[Again forgive me, my post wasnt great. I dont know the limit to your boards. But when Im rested and have muse i'll do better.]
